DAYS 1988: Marvelous Mike Horton (Michael T. Weiss)
After another morning of looking through my old soap tapes, I revisited the fourth soap episode I ever recorded, and it was the first I taped that blantantly objectified a gorgeous daytime man. These clips are from Mike Horton & April Ramirez's first date on DAYS, and the air date was June 8, 1988. (Longtime fans: yes, this is when DAYS was really good!)
To this day, I still say Michael T. Weiss was the funniest soap hunk in daytime history. His kick-ass body was just gravy. Even though Mike Horton went through lots of portrayers, for me there will always only be Weiss. I was pissed early last year when he only ranked No. 56 on the list of the 100 Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time. Obviously my fellow judges never saw this episode that you're about to enjoy...

I didn't watch Days back then so I didn't lust after Michael T. Weiss until his stint as "The Pretender," but damn am I upset that I missed him with the facial hair! Not to mention, that hot, furry chest and belly. HOT!
Since I am one of the judges of the "100 Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time" you are taking to task for Michael T. Weiss' ranking, I must speak up.
I did watch DOOL regularly in 1988 and I do remember these scenes. Unfortunately for Michael, I did not find him good looking back then (and I still don't now). I got so tired of seeing Michael that every time he came on, I would change the channel and watch ATWT. In fact, I eventually left DOOL all together for ATWT.
Sorry, Soapy, but Michael has just never done it for me and will never do it for me. I stand behind the low ratings I gave him across the board. :)

I recently saw the movie "Jeffery" and I knew this actor. But I couldn't place him . Thanks for the Soap Clip, Thanks MTW for bing part of my days in my life. I truely enjoyed the Predenter,thanks to Fancast I can get to watch MTW. This guy is HOT, and he's played a lot of roles. It would be great to see him in a new 2010 Gay Series, or movie. I don't care if it's not Gay. I just admire the man for his talent and Charm... I am glad I stumbled apon your blog...Ernie
