Musser, Branson out at AMC
In the latest run of housecleaning at AMC, Alec Musser & Jeff Branson have both been dropped by the sudser to make room for the returning Rebecca Budig, Debbi Morgan, and Darnell Williams.
Musser and his impeccable pecs were the winner of SOAPNet's second installment of "I Wanna Be a Soapstar," and his tenure in Pine Valley was the only one so far that turned into a lengthy stay, even if he was massively underused (and over-clothed).
Branson scored an Emmy nomination in 2005, but his character has been horribly written ever since his killing character "got the bad cut out," supposedly returning him to viability as a hero.
