Gauthier out at OLTL
Dan Gauthier's official Web site is reporting that OLTL has let the actor go from the cast. Focus groups, apparently, don't like the character of Kevin Buchanan. Funny, my site's visitors seemed to have no problem with him, as he won last year's Soaphunks.net Award for Best Hunk Over 40. He will be missed.

Is he really over 40?!
The firing of Dan is ludicrous. He is one of the show's best actors (did you see him during Duke's death?). The "focus groups" stuff is nonsense. He is the son of the show's matriarch. It's decisions like this that are killing the soaps. I've never written to a (soap) actor, but I'm really tempted to e-mail Dan.
