Early voting

I said on the site that I would be providing things via the blog that wouldn't be available on the site, and I'm a man of my word.

So, all you blog visitors get a chance to participate in early voting for the 7th Annual Soaphunks.net Awards! I won't be activating the voting link on the main site until the advertised date of December 1.

You may vote as many times as you like this year, but every ballot must include a vote in the Best Hunk category. All other categories are optional, but I hope you'll vote in them all. Remember to try to vote for the most deserving candidate in each category, not just the ones from the shows you happen to watch. If you don't know some of the guys, go investigate throughout the site!

Video clips

The biggest aspect of this latest update is the addition--at last--of video clips to soaphunks.net. I am giving this section a trial run to see how this affects my site's bandwidth. If you want the clips to hang around, PLEASE right-click and save the clips to your local computers before viewing them. Streaming them straight from the site will make my server (and my head) explode!

Clips are in WMV format, and I hope to rotate them from time to time.

Obviously, all clips are owned by their respective networks & production companies, and I don't own them in any way. Just sharing the shirtlessness with all of you! :)

soaphunks.net updated

I updated the site today with 54 new pictures, taking us up to over 3,200 pictures. Enjoy!

Errors?

Hey everyone...the site got a small upgrade on the front-end today and a major one on the back-end, as I added more links at the top of each page, and converted all pages to PHP.

Everything seems to be running smoothly so far, but it's very likely that I've missed something. If you find any dead links to pages on soaphunks.net, or if something just looks strange, please give me a shout. Thanks!

Now I shall start on adding video to the site, as I have wanted to do for a long time now. Pray for me.

Soapy enters the blogosphere

Hi folks! As of today, soaphunks.net has its own blog, so I can share my feeble ramblings about the current state of soaps and soap hunks. It's sure to make for great reading, as soon as I figure out what I'm doing! :)
